Don’t Forget About The Rads
During the holiday season we tend to travel more to visit friends & families home.
What we don’t think of is how toxic these environments are. This varies & is as unique as a fingerprint. No two environments are the same & each of us have our own level of tolerance to how much effort we put into mitigating rads of that environment.
Perhaps your not conscious of it at all & particles are free to roam around. What difference does it make? That’s a personal choice based on how important you place being exposed to the rads is on your list of health priorities.Chief among those reasons we need to consider how much radiation is in our own region. When traveling, we should know theirs as well. This maybe foreign to many of you & your not going to find out on the news at 6 about it. Thanks to the work of Bob Nichols – an expert in the field, & ally of the people who is not afraid to tell it the way it is, you can find out at #YRTW https://yourradiationthisweek.org/
The rads have been increasing at an alarming rate this past year & this is why I’m bringing up the subject. The NRC & EPA would rather defend the interests of the nuclear industry over carrying out their fiduciary responsibilities to protecting the public mandated by law. Why are they not being held accountable? The lack of interest smells like a cover-up. A subject for another time…
So how bad is it?
Rads have increased at such a rapid rate, Bob had made adjustments to the chart with a new scale to better understand what these high numbers mean.
The Million Rads A Week Club is not a club you want to be in, but in these perilous times, we’re all in it together, like it or not.
Colorado Springs CO is the number one hot spot in North America (as usual) receiving 71,731,736 total gamma radiation as of Jan 1.
The Rad numbers are your guide to your exposure to the Rad. How much you already absorbed in your daily life is really hard to find out. The Nuclear Weapons Labs know, of course.
Notice: It is necessary for public health and because the many nuclear reactors are venting radioactive gases and steam at nights and on weekends. All residents should stay inside at nights and on weekends. It’s your life, your choice. The Rad is always cumulative. What you absorbed before now is still with you.
Especially hard hit are the cities listed in YRTW YTD ELE. See the latest Your Radiation This Week or TOTAL GAMMA RADIATION report for the most recent list of the 98 reporting contaminated cities plus Toneri Metropolitan Park in Tokyo, Japan. Most reporting American cities exceed Tokyo in Radiation levels. That was a surprise.
